Let’s Talk About It (When You Realize You've Lost The Love In The Relationship)
This is a look at an unstable relationship through the eyes of one of the characters in the relationship (the stanzas you see moved to the right are the characters inner thoughts and feelings)
Let’s Talk About It
Let’s have a go at this once more
Let’s have a go at things we should of known
Let’s start over in a brand new home
While we say things we should of shown
Cause love goes both ways
And there’s no such thing as "fate"
As you yell "wipe that smirk off your face"
and all I say is "a world with love is much better place" in a sarcastic way
as our argument starts to boil over
Let’s cool down and take it slower
Let’s talk about "it" now
"it" being love, the one we never found
So...Let’s talk about it now
When Every things gone
Let’s talk about how
Were gonna spread the night to be long
let me go on with this hollow feeling
which I allow to keep on feeding
on the time that we keep stealing
from each others life that has no feeling
Let’s listen to what each has to say
about why everything is gone
Let’s look back upon the time we shared
And all the empty memories we left behind
Don’t answer this; just comment me with ideas of what kind of poems you would like to see…
