Claire begins to freak out when weird things start happening.
Claire stepped toward Abby as she applied lip gloss. She roughly grabbed Abby by her hair yanking her back. Abby cried out dropping her gloss trying to reach for Claire's hands. ''Claire what are you doing'' she cried. Claire smiled and pulled harder. ''Stop'' Abby screamed. Claire nodded and used her other hand to cup the back of Abby's head shoving her forcefully into the mirror. The mirror cracked into a million species, shattering as Abby's face made contact. Abby sunk to her knees holding her face and crying. Claire looked at the mirror with satisfaction as pieces of hair and drop of blood were embedded in the mirror. Claire roughly grabbed Abby shoulder turning her around, glass was into her face and forehead. She bleed from the eyes nose and forehead. Getting tired of playing with Abby she picked up a sharp piece of glass and held it above Abby.
Abby big blue eyes were wide with fear and shock ''Why'' she gasped. ''Because its part of the legend'' Claire smiled stabbing her in the chest then again. Blood splattered her face as she stabbed her repeatedly. She let the piece of glass drop out of her hand when she was finished, she stood over Abby's lifeless body covered in her blood. She dipped her finger in a small puddle and tasted it. She turned to the crack mirror smiling wickedly until she saw her reflection. Her dark hair turning into to gold. Her green eyes turning into blue. She backed away slowly, she resembled Mary. No it couldn't be she wasn't anything like Mary. Her reflection smiled blood covering her teeth and dimples. Claire looked at Abby shocked. What have I done she thought? Her reflection replied ''Your becoming her''. ''No'' she screamed stumbling over Abby and falling. A hand touched her shoulder, she turned to see Mary behind her. Her eyes flowing blood. ''No'' Claire screamed to shocked to move. ''Yes'' Mary cried and reached for her.
''No'' Claire gasped sitting up. She looked around panting furiously. She was in the nurse's office but she didn't really remember why. She tried to get up when a voice yelled ''Claire''. She turned to see Abby running in wide-eyed and out of breath. Claire couldn't believe it, she was alive. She grabbed Abby and hugged her and she hugged her back. ''Are you okay'' Claire asked. Abby smiled shaking her ''Me are you okay''. ''What do you mean''. ''Well when you missed first period I got worried so I went down to the old bathroom to see you covered in foam and a cut on your cheek and you passed out''. Claire looked at her confused she didn't remember anything like that. She was just so happy to see her best friend alive because that nightmare scared her to death. ''Do ever do that'' Abby commanded her ''We were all scared, drake almost got suspended trying to fight security to get to you''. Claire shook her head smirking drake, her boyfriend was so protective that's why she loved him. ''Don't worry I'm never doing that again''. Abby nodded then asked ''Di you see her''. ''I could have been killed and your worried if the legend is real''. Abby nodded and Claire sighed ''Happy to rain on your parade no''. Abby sucked her teeth and said ''Well whatever I should have known that it wasn't true your alive'' she smiled walking out. Claire rolled her eyes following her.
Since Claire missed her class she'd have to make it up after school, she sat in her last period of the day tapping her feet. She didn't feel right that dream made her feel uneasy. Her phone vibrated it was a text from drake. What happened tell me everything don't ever make me worry like that. She smiled Fainted taken to the nurse's office all better sorry to make you worry. Okay just be careful Love you.
Love you she replied closing her phone and staring straight ahead. When the final bell rang for school to end she grabbed her stuff from the locker and headed to the class she missed. Her footsteps thudded as she walked alone in the quiet hallways. Everyone had gone home except for her, a few students and a teacher but for right now she was alone. As she entered the classroom a shadow flashed across the door making her turn around quickly. When she saw nothing she relaxed and headed into the classroom. She sat in the back and began doing her work. The work seemed more difficult than often. She scratched her head and felt strings of hair come out. She unwound her hand dropping the strings of dark hair. She scratched again and more strings came out this time, she unwound her hand and saw golden strings. She dropped them on the floor and began snatching out pieces of her hair. Every string that came out was a golden string. ''No''she cried panting. Her heartbeat speed as blood dripped onto her desk. She touched her nose but that wasn't where the blood was coming from, she touched her neck and felt a scar that dripped blood. Her breathing became labored as hands wrapped around her neck, a voice whispered in her ear ''Your becoming me''. ''No'' she screamed falling out of her seat.
Everyone stared at her shocked, she scrambled to get her stuff and ran out of the classroom. She ran down the hallway as the lights flickered. Lockers rumbled loudly making her terrified. She came to the exit and pushed hard but it wouldn't open. She screamed when a hand touched her shoulder, behind her stood Eveline. ''Are you alright'' she asked. Claire nodded opening the door and running out. She kept running until she was to her car. She jumped in and cried. What the hell was happening, her phone vibrated a text from Abby. Come to my house later have a girls day. She smiled wide that's what she needed. Her phone vibrated again unknown number Better get to Abby's before I do Mary. Claire dropped the phone and hurried to get to Abby.
