Legacy Of The Knight Ninja: Chapter One
New story I type to make up for delays.
Failed Mission
The silent midnight air tells that nothing is alive at this moment, only the dancing breeze and the swaying flowers around the statue of liberty. Far as the statue see are many ruins and a desert land, creating a dead environment. A strange figure with four arms and a beak stands on top of the statue as it looks down for its prey. It is listening to the dead environment when it closes its eyes making its other senses sharp. He then heard footsteps from miles away and opened his eyes. Like a speed of light, a sonic boom was heard and then a clash of two steel blades. The figure’s sword stopped the shiny katana from stabbing its armor and forced the attacker to drop back down at the foot of the statue. Anybody who fall down 305 feet from the tip of the statue’s flame would have died but this is not an ordinary human nor is it a monster as its dull silver plates show a humanoid shape. The silver warrior seems to look at the figure with hatred in its eyes through his helmet which was formed into a ninja like mask.
"What do you hope to achieve, knight," the figure spoke in a high pitched voice, "You’ll never be able to defeat me for I am invincible."
"No one was ever invincible but you, Curse, had only taken a cowardly form."
"Heh, you think that saying those childish words will transform me into my original form? Mwa ha ha! Clever knight clever but I will warn you, my original form is much stronger than this form."
"Then bring it on bird beak." At full speed, the knight charged at the monster, raising its shiny white katana above its head. It jumped up 400 feet above the statue and the monster. Curse readies its blade as it waited for the knight to come down. A second later, the knight came crashing down on the monster like a meteor but Curse dodges to the right and instead, he crash landed on the statue. Curse strikes him from the left and the knight quickly fell down the statue but he landed on his two feet like a cat and stands his ground. The knight listens to the wind and magically took out a scroll from thin air. He opened the scroll as he sees Curse rushing towards him and yelled out, "Ninjitsu art of teleportation!" The scroll immediately was burned by a magical fire as the smokes covered the knight. The monster attacks the smoke but the knight was nowhere to be found.
"I hate him when he uses this technique," the fiend growled at his frustration and fear. It looked around but the knight was nowhere to be found. He then heard a rushing sound followed by another technique by the knight. "Ninjitsu art of wind movement," and for a moment, everything starts to slow down, even Curse seem to be moving like a slug. Only the Knight seems to be moving at full speed while time slowed. The knight readies its blade, cuts Curse right through the middle. He looks back as it ran past the sliced Curse but sees that it was nearly only a dummy. Knight panicked a bit for he never see Curse use this move before.
"Ha ha ha ha ha," Curse’s laugh pierce into the night, "Clever move knight, clever but you didn’t get me on that one."
"Show yourself," the knight demanded in a cool but dangerous voice.
"Hmph, fine knight, allow me to show you my real form as you desire." A very evil energy starts to envelope around him. The knight became alert and readies his blade for anything. He heard a crash follow by heavy breaths that belong to a monster but still the knight stand his guard, ready for anything. He then sees a giant shadow over him and move away from his position. Curse landed but was in a different form as his neck is as long as a giant snake, his body became of a giant spider with a long tail of gold and a head of a hideous dead man.
"Want my real form knight! Here’s my real form!" As Curse laughed, the knight charged at the monster but Curse flicked one of its arms and the knight went crashing through the statue. Curse walked over to him as he struggles to stand on his feet and picks him up to his face.
"Well knight, what now? Now that you have seen my real face, what are you going to do about?" The knight cuts off Curse’s hand with one swipe of his katana and retreats into the darkness. Curse just laughed as he regenerate his hand and continues his search for the knight. The knight hid behind the bushes as it tries to think of a plan. An arm came out to grab him but he dodges and prepares his technique.
"Ninjitsu art of air movement," and he starts to run in midair circling around Curse. He targets for his head but Curse got a trick of its own as he spit webs from out of his tail. The knight was stuck in the webs of his enemy and he lay helplessly as Curse crept closer and closer.
"This is the end of you, knight!" Curse said cheerfully as he prepares his final blow but then a magical arrow stabbed Curse’s leg and he yelp with pain. He looks at the direction of where the arrow was shot and saw a warrior wearing its black armor. The warrior shot another arrow but Curse dodges it and jump up top of the statue.
"You’re lucky this time knight but next time, you’re finish," and with this, Curse leap off the statue and disappear into the mist. The black warrior got out of its hiding place and frees the knight.
"What are you doing here, Tenchi," the knight asked.
"That’s my question, what are you doing?"
"Not your problem."
"Come on, you have open up someday. A Knight Ninja like you should at least open up now!"
"Never Tenchi, never," and the knight started to walk away.
"Saike!" the knight stop in its tracks as its name was call. He look back at Tenchi and told him, "Only those who’s closest to me may call me by my name." Saike, the Knight Ninja, walk on into the wasteland.
