Leaving
It's about one of my friends... someone I can barely live without... who I'm gonna have to leave soon enough. Poem probably doesn't make sense, but it's how I feel. Hope you like! (:
My mind is so confused…
And I’m left here, reeling.
I want to tell you,
But I can’t.
Lying, knowing it’s not true.
You stare at me, worried.
But I know, in my heart,
I just can’t tell… can’t you see?
My heart is torn,
I know I’ll be leaving…
Soon, and I can’t forewarn.
Don’t make this any harder.
It’s already impossible.
If only I can tell you sooner.
No matter what happens,
We’ll always be twins.
Our friendship just isn’t the type that ends.
