Learn Your Lines
It's funny how, to get out of a recession, we use the same old tactics that put us in there in the first place.

My contradictive nemesis?
Whose battle tunes will you play,
As you argue against common sense?
Confusion is your weapon of choice,
By writing words that share no voice.
Scribble words with pen on leaf,
Write down the thoughts that only you can understand,
Dispatch them through the office as commands,
Your concubines will lend a helping hand.
To make sure all accept your speech,
Post your bills just out of reach.
The democratic right is wavered,
To criticise that which is undeciphered,
Unreliable in what exactly is to be delivered,
It's funny that it always looks good on paper,
And you think that you are being clever,
By ignoring more important matters.
But I see through your conspiracy,
Your argument is lost among the gobbledegook,
Charred black are the books you try to cook,
The vagueness of your euphemisms are mistook,
As calculated facts, instead of fancy,
Dressed up in the habit of stolen money.
No one is allowed to fault your plan,
Glorious are the headline banners of your ego trip,
As you stand upon your soapbox preaching verbal shit,
With the authoritative right to hold the monkey grip,
Ceding not the luxury to the common man,
Run, and let him catch up if he can.
I see you learned your lines today,
In contradiction of reality,
With no heed to the rules of the game you play,
And common sense, again, is thrown away,
And still you see nothing wrong,
Even though your stocks have crashed again.
