After over one year in development, Happiness University is officially open for business. Happiness University is an extensive website devoted to personal growth and happiness. It is filled with tips, tools and research that help individuals find and sustain lasting happiness.
"I have always been interested in the area of happiness," says Jessica Swanson, founder and President of Happiness University. "I began in-depth research on happiness a few years ago. Through my research I found that individuals who follow a happiness program report being 25% happier after only two weeks! This is incredible. I decided to put my time and energy developing a happiness program."
This is exactly what Swanson has done. Her site is a comprehensive 30-page site with unlimited resources, tips and tools. In addition, visitors can also sign up for her free ezines.
Most importantly, Swanson has developed an extensive happiness program that consists of a 210-page book and 267-page workbook.
"Through my research, I have found that happiness can be learned," reports Swanson. "Since I have found happiness in my life, I feel compelled to offer my insights to others. I feel that my mission in life is to help others achieve happiness."
The positive psychology and happiness movement is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. Millions of people each year spend time and money trying to find happiness. In fact, many Americans even try to find happiness through promotions, bigger houses and new cars. Unfortunately, outside factors rarely make people happier.
"Happiness can only come from within," says Swanson. "But, most people aren't sure what that means. I intend to help people find how to tap into happiness with proven techniques and strategies."
Remember, Thomas Jefferson believed that happiness is our "unalienable" right. Therefore, all people on this planet have a right and even a duty to pursue happiness.
