Lawn Mower Parts: Blade and Tires
Some types of lawn mower parts and different varieties of its blades and tires are described in this article.

Belts
The width and length of the belt is used to choose one. The different widths are 3/8, ½ and 5/8 inches. Jacks are used to supply replacement belts of varying sizes.
Covers
This is used to protect from sun damage, dust, rain and tree sap. This has an elastic shock cord in the bottom hem for a fast and custom-like fit. It covers the mower and attached catcher on rear discharge mowers. The fabric is coated for a good water resistance and repelling capacity. This would not shrink or stretch.
Pulleys
The heavy-duty cast iron pulleys have different belt types A/B Offset Hub, A/B Centered Hub style, A/B Offset Hub and A/B Offset Hub. The Steel V-Belt Pulleys are used for ½ inch belts.
Mulching Kits
These are of different types like 38, 42 , 46, 48, 50 and 52 inches. The Walk Behinds can be described as Mulching kits of size 22 inches.
Battery Parts
The Battery charger can charge all 12 volt batteries in walk-behind mowers. Battery tester is handy and pocket size and easy to use tester to check 12 volt battery. The Battery charger is a universal one for electric start push mowers. It connects directly to mating battery plug. Battery cable terminals fit 4 and 6 gauge battery cable. It is a heavy duty corrosion resistant battery terminal. The In-line fuse holders have a 14 gauge wire, are heavy duty and universal. The In-line fuse holder are a 16 gauge wire, molded plastic fuse holder and an 8-inch wire. There is also a trickle battery charger.
Miscellaneous Parts
Excluding some of the major parts described above, there are other petty parts that serve useful in the working of the lawn mower. Some of these are listed below. These include:
- Anti-slip tape that is self adhesive and black color
- Hitch pin assembly
- Clutch key
- Straight key stock
- Grass catcher assembly that is zinc plated and easy to install and easy to empty
- Chipper or Shredder bag has a universal style and drawstring with handy slide lock
- Deluxe wheel height adjuster has positive locking, mounting bolts and plates to adjust in many housings
The tires are of different types like bar tread tires, ribbed tires, slick tires and turf tires. The bar tread tires fits grasshopper outfront mowers and are 4 ply and tubeless.
