LAW, Me And My Girlfriend

After I did my plus two,
There were lot of choices to think of,
Open were the gates to choose from,
but I was interested in only few,
I opted to become a legal gun, Happy was I,
I'll become a lawyer in the years to come.

Passed the entrance and joined the law school,
Became a small fish in the big legal pool,
Happy, full of ambitions, passions, I hit the institution ,
Friends I made, groups I joined, was having real fun,
Started my career journey,
But wasn't aware of the competition,
Mere degree doesn't stand good enough,
Skills you need to nurture, talent you require,
And yes hard work is the basic foundation,

Subjects are interesting to read,
We have torts, contracts, and lot more to grow the legal seed,
Got the indication that this is not an easy work,
Legal studies requires serious concentration and focus,
But I also needed to improve upon my personal life status,
Handling both together was not a bigger problem,
But I kept on taking the wrong decision,

Paid the price, when I got backlogs twice,
Books are thick, but I was concentrating upon my girlfriend miss,
She had lot of requirements as well,
Life without her that time looked like hell,
How to settle both together?
I needed to take appropriate measure.

Finally I got it early, and today I feel that law is my girlfriend,
As girlfriend will not stay forever,
People will always remember me as a lawyer.
