Ingredients
- A bar of grated Ivory soap
- Washing soda (1 cup)
- Hot water
- Put grated ivory soap in a saucepan and fill it with hot water, till the grated soap is covered.
- Heat this at medium heat, all the wile stirring, till the ivory soap melts.
- In a large pail, add the mixture from the saucepan along with an additional 2.5 gallons of hot water. Keep on stirring till it gets mixed properly.
- To this mixture, add your cup of washing soda and continue to stir till it mixes fine.
- Leave it to cool.

- 1 bar of grated soap
- Baking soda (2 cups)
- Hot water (2 gallons)
- Put the grated soap in a saucepan and fill it with hot water, enough to cover the soap. Keep the gas on medium heat and stir it till all soap melts
- Transfer this mixture from the saucepan to a pail, add 2 gallons of hot water to it, and keep stirring.
- Add baking soda to this mixture, continue stirring.
- Allow it to cool

- Borax (½ cup)
- Hot water (5 gallons)
- Soap bar (1 piece)
- Washing soda (1 cup)
- First grate the whole soap bar and put in a saucepan. Cover it with hot water. Adjust the gas to medium low and keep stirring the mixture till the soap melts.
- Add 5 gallons of hot water to a large pail. In this, transfer the mixture from your saucepan along with washing soda and borax. Keep on stirring till everything dissolves.
- Add more hot water to the pail if required. Leave it aside to cool.

- Borax (¾ cup)
- Washing soda ( ¾ cup)
- Glycerin (2 tbsp)
- Hot water (2.5 gallons)
- Add the grated bar soap to a saucepan, cover it with water and keep stirring it till all soap melts.
- Take a large pail and empty 2.5 gallons of hot water in it. Add glycerin, washing soda and the mixture from the saucepan to this.
- Stir well till everything dissolves. Leave it to cool

Ingredients
- Washing soda (1 cup)
- Liquid castle soap (¼ cup)
- Baking soda (1 cup)
- White vinegar (1 cup)
- Add liquid soap to a bowl. Then put washing and baking soda in it as well.
- Add white vinegar to this, little at a time. You will notice the mixture in the bowl starting to foam up a little bit.
- Keep stirring the mixture till the thick paste gets converted to powdered detergent.
- Hard lumps, if any, can be broken down easily while stirring.
- Store the mixture in an airtight container.

- Hot boiling water
- Borax (2 cups)
- Take a large saucepan, and add in it grated bar soap and hot water. Adjust the gas to medium heat and let soap melt. Stir the mixture.
- Add the mixture from the sauce pan to a pail, which contains 2 gallons of hot water. Put borax and washing soda in the pail and keep steering it everything dissolves.
- Leave it aside to cool down.
