Lance Armstrong Avoids Romance Question

Armstrong, 36, appeared on The View Tuesday and politely refused to answer any questions about his romantic life. He has reportedly been dating Kate Hudson, 29, since May but neither camp has confirmed the romance. Hudson appeared on The View last week and when asked about her romance with Armstrong she giggled and said, "Ask him." When Barbara Walters asked Armstrong about his relationship with Hudson he said, "I know you have to ask that question…and it’s my right not to answer it."

Armstrong went on to say, "When your’ happy about something or proud about something, it’s natural and human nature to talk about it." When Joy Behar pressed the question again Armstrong said, "No, I’m no going to answer it. Next question." Armstrong and Hudson have been spending a lot of time together lately. They were first spotted getting cozy in May at the Cannes International Film Festival in France. Just this past weekend they were spotted in Toronto and then celebrated Father’s Day with their children at Frankie’s Spuntino in Brooklyn.

Armstrong has three children with his ex-wife Kristin Richard – Luke, 9, and twins Isabelle and Grace, 7. Armstrong and Richard married in May 1998 and were divorced in 2003. He then began dating singer Sheryl Crow in January 2004 and the couple got engaged in Sept 2005. They split five months later. He was then romantically linked to designer Tory Burch and actress Ashley Olsen. Hudson has a four-year old son, Ryder Russell, with ex-husband Chris Robinson. She was married to Robinson for almost 6 years before the couple split in 2006. Her romance with Owen Wilson was often credited for breaking up her marriage. She and Wilson split shortly before she reportedly began dating Armstrong.
