Lake Erie's Western Basin
Lake Erie’s Western Basin is a Meca of fishing opportunities. Good catches of Walleye, yellow perch, small mouth bass ,Large Mouth Bass and Panfish can be caught in the western basin of Lake Erie. Walleye and Small Mouth are abundant, any many a trophy of these two species is taken every year from the western basin of lake Erie. The Western Basin of Lake Erie is quite large, crossing the boarders of Ohio, Michigan, Ontario Ca. and Pennsylvania. Lake Erie IS feed through the western basin via the other great lakes flowing south through Lake St Clair, down the Detroit River Into the north west tip of the western basin.
