Lady

Simply a love poem.
Lady, won't you throw me a smile,
I'd like to wallow in your eyes for a while,
To lose myself in your beauty and your style.
Maybe, if you'll take my hand,
We'll walk together across golden sands,
I pledge my heart and my soul to your command.

Lady, is this just a dream,
A mere illusion of a romantic scene?
Could it be true that you're really here with me?
Maybe, I'll wake up in a while,
To find that you are here beside me still,
I think it's real so far as I can tell.

Lady, as we walk through the trees,
Our spirits dancing on the air that we breathe,
That magic moment that holds us in a dream,
Maybe, it's the karma we seek,
The tranquility of a warm summer breeze,
The cool reflection of the moon upon the sea.

Lady, like the songbirds refrain,
A perfect lullaby that sings out your name,
You hold the melody that plays my heart strings,
Maybe, if we harmonize,
The perfect timing as our hearts unite,
Will keep us together until the end of time.

Lady, the new day sees me awake,
You're still beside me on the bed where we lay,
I see you smile and know forever you will stay,
Maybe, when we're older by far,
We'll look back upon this day as the start,
Of the serenity we share within out hearts.
