Labour of Love

Love what you do and it will pay you handsomely.
How many of us get up in the morning all excited about the job that we are going to spend most of our waking hours at? If you are one of those people who are not passionate about what they do to earn money, be grateful for the job that you currently have and start working on getting in touch with the job your heart desires.

Most people have an idea what they are passionate about, but they are not taking the steps to find out what to do about it. Don’t get me wrong, living a life filled with passion and joy is not only about making money, however we spend so much of our time doing a particular task, should we not at least enjoy it and be well rewarded in the process.

I know for some people charging monies for performing a service can be a bit uncomfortable. But think about it. Having fun and getting paid! Is there a better way to live?

Have you ever taken the time, to observe some one who is in touch with their passion on a daily basis; most times they go about their "work" with a knowing that everything is ok. However, please keep in mind that people who love what they do, have challenges and sometimes will walk away from it, look at what is not working and find a way to make it work.

People are not generally supported in their choice of work, especially if it is not socially acceptable. Who we are and what we do for a living has become in-separable. On the other hand there are those brave souls who say to hell, with other people opinions and go after their dreams and are much better off for it.

I knew that when I left school, I did not have the skills to get the job I desired. In fact I did not know what I wanted to do except to have money. So I took the only job my skill less self could get and I hated it. Even though it was honest employment I felt like I was cheating my self. I looked at how people all around me were going places and doing life and I was just there.

I made the decision to be financially independent and started getting there but still was not happy. Then I started thinking about my heart’s desire and what I wanted to do with my life besides survive. Now I wake up in the morning and ask what is my purpose and how may I be of service. I still have not gotten the crystal clear answer as yet but when I am truly ready the purpose will present it self. That I am certain of.

Lucky for us people like Tiger Woods & Bill Gates discovered their passion early and allowed it to surface enabling them to design a life which supported their heart’s desire. This gives hope to people like me who want more and are willing to go the distance to get it.

Let’s face it the only reason why we need money is have all those wonderful experiences life has to offer.

So why not let the process of gathering coin be fun!
