Kokoro (2)
Sorry it's sooooooooooo short but i promise the next one will be longer !
Avery's POV :
"Hey, Avery, you want to hang out later?" Chloe asked when we had finished classes for the day.
"No thanks" i had to decline.
"But why?" Rose asked, pleadingly.
"I have work. Maybe another time" I said before running off.
Fist i went towards the direction of my house, glancing back every now and then to see if anyone was following me. Then, quickly, I turned around a sharp bend and began running. I hoped that i wasn't late.
"Sorry i'm late, guys!" I called out when i opened the door.
"Ah, Avery. It's no problem. You're just in time. Hurry up already" my best guy-friend, Paul, also my partner, said.
"Okays. Stand back" I said and i closed the door.
"Kokoro !" i whispered and that was all it took.
My body began to tingle a little bit as it underwent some major transformation. My legs and arms became more slender and sexy-looking (as described by Paul) and my hair grew longer and at the same time, dyed itself from my regular light brown hair to a light blond.
"Good job and the clothes look good as well" the boss, Rico, of the company commented and i blushed, looking at my clothing.
Instead of my Kokoro Academy Uniform, a baby blue dress with a few frills but not too much with matching accessories had appeared.
"Shall we start, Lily?" Paul said winking at me.

Before I move on, you're probably confused. What is 'Kokoro' ? How can Avery transform? I'll answer all those in one of the following chapters when her secret is discovered.

Lily was my name if I 'Kokoro'-ed.
Click! A camera flashed as I posed with Paul.
Yup. You guessed it. I work as a model, pro, actually. I'm the star model of Dream Monthly. The people who i work with all know my secret and they allow me to work with them. Actually the boss of Dream -Dream is divided into different categories which are released differently - doesn't permit elementary students to work so we cam up with using my 'Kokoro' for that purpose.
(The next day -also when the Dream Monthly is released-)
"Hey! Avery! Have you seen the next issue of Dream Monthly? They absolutely are making it to the top with their star model, Lily Wells. I wish i can at least see her once, even if it's just a peek" Rose said.
'you're even talking to her' i wanted to say but then remembered the promise i made with the magazine: No one is to know about my true identity.

I'm so sorry if this is short but I need to get some sleep. My mother is nagging me. I'll continue tomorrow or something but feel free to leave questions/comments/greetings/anything for me in the discussion thingy.
