Kim Kardashian Looking Forward to 2012
Kim Kardashian had something of a rough year last year, and says she’s looking forward to 2012 and is going to "follow her heart."
To say that Kim Kardashian had a tumultuous 2011 is certainly an understatement. Looking to remain constantly in the minds of fans, on the covers of magazines and a hot topic among the entertainment press in general, Kim had her usual array of publicity stunts, not least of which was a likely sham marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries. While it seems like it may be an odd statement, it could even be that Kim is looking forward to a new year that is quieter than the last, though we certainly wouldn’t recommend betting on that.
For this upcoming year, Kardashian insists she’s focused entirely on the future. She tells People magazine that "I’m looking forward to moving forward. And never looking back." That may be for the best for Kim, as her popularity seemed to begin sagging a bit after the media finally got over the whole sham marriage thing. It seems that Kardashian increasingly elicits feelings of disgust even among an American public all-consumed with celebrity.
Of her crazy 2011, Kim says she’s learned one very important lesson. According to her, that lesson is this: "I learned always to follow my heart." On her Twitter account, Kardashian tweeted, "Funny how people look 4 a fresh start in the New Year but the truth is it is just an excuse! U can start fresh & set goals any day of the year." She added, "Who else is soooo ready to let go of 2011 and have the best 2012 ever!!!"
