Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush End their Relationship

The latest celebrity couple to end their relationship is Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush. A spokesperson for Kardashian told Us Magazine that the couple broke up amicably as a result of conflicting schedules and lives heading in different directions. Relative to most celebrity relationships, theirs seemed to be pretty normal - and their break-up certainly reinforces that idea.

Kardashian is only 28 years old and Reggie Bush is only 24, both have careers that are constantly in flux and both are trying to establish themselves as viable talents.

Kim Kardashian has found herself becoming the poster girl for women who are curvy but still feel they need to lose weight to look good. She's also involved in other ventures with her sisters and has elevated herself beyond the sex tape and reality show that launched her celebrity.

Reggie Bush, on the other hand, has struggled to establish himself as a dominant force in the National Football League, despite entering the league as one of the most hyped college talents of recent years. Bush has talent and he is an explosive player, but he's also not a prototypical NFL player and his in-between roles are not as easily marketed by the league.

Kardashian and Bush managed to steer clear of any controversy or public meltdowns during their two-year relationship, which is saying something by Hollywood standards. It wouldn't be surprising to see the two try again at a later date.
