Kids Love Playing with Glow Sticks

There are lots of places to sell glow sticks. July 4th usually generates good sales, but they are popular at any night time festivals, concerts, sporting events, etc. Kids love to play with glowsticks with their wildest imaginations: Pushing furniture to perimeter of a room and turning out all the lights so kids can go into the center and perform glowsticking – dancing with light sticks. They love all sparkling toys and certainly they love light sticks too. At summer fairs, they are the ones who find glow sticks vendors and do the "sales pitch" to their parents.

Glow stick illuminates dark theatre hallways and pathways for special events and provide illumination for campers and divers. Other than for safety and night visibility applications, other glowing products can bring a ton of fun to campsite activities. At night, campsite sites are usually dark, glowing necklaces and bracelets are perfect for bringing out the fun. Maybe someone wants to do some joggling, 12" glowstick is perfect for that. They are 12" long, about 5/8" in diameter and weighs about 3 OZ each. The brightness and length of glowing depend on the quantity of the chemicals provided inside the sticks. So obviously the larger the sticks, the longer the glowing time they will be.

Glow sticks come in seven wonderful colors: red, pink, green, yellow, orange, blue and purple. Glow necklaces in your school colors add a lot of excitement to your school dance or school football game. If your event doesn’t have a theme color, you can’t go wrong by choosing an assortment of colors. Typically glow necklace products are packed 50 pieces in a tube. Assorted color typically comes in (5) colors with each color (10) pieces. Other than assorted, tri-color glow stick such as red-green-blue, red-white-blue and green-yellow-pink are hot too at summer events. Although glow necklaces and bracelets are typically bulk packed, there are still retail packaging ones with between 2 to 5 necklaces or bracelets per bag. They are convenient if you don’t need 50 or 100. But the unit price will be much higher than bulk packed ones. Common price of glow sticks are $1-$1.5 for fundraising while its cost can be as low as 25 cents a piece, providing room for extremely high margin.
