A person suffering from polycystic kidney disease has the following symptoms:

• Abdominal pain or tenderness
• Blood in the urine
• Excessive urination during nighttime
• Flank pain on one or both sides

• Drowsiness
• Joint pain
• Painful menstruation
• High blood pressure
