It echoed over and over in my head. I was holding a flyer that I had gotten from a liquor store. I was recognized there. But I managed to get my flyer and bring it with me before Roger shoved me in the car.

I could barely read it because I was a in a dark, isolated room. As I moved around my footsteps echoed. The door was locked. It always was. I felt like a hermit. You know someone that shuts out the world completely. Cramps themselves in a cave and never comes out. Well I felt like that. Alone, Isolated, Lost. I hadn’t eaten in days. So I was really hungry too. I can still remember that bacon double cheeseburger that Roger had bought me 3 days ago. I felt like I was home again. But after each long, savory bite, I’d open my eyes and see him. He hadn’t touched me in days. Thank god. Neither have his friends. But even if they didn’t, I’d still wanted to kill myself.
