Kidnapped - 1

Will A.J ever see her family again? Is she falling for Adam? What will they do to her? What will happen?
I was walking home one day after school when I saw my neighbor Jack, but I call him Jackie. He's only 9 years old, but he's still an awesome kid. We hang out a lot actually, we usually just play his Xbox. Even though I'm 15 and he's only 10, I still feel bad for him because his mom died 2 years ago. Because of that we've grown really close. I waved to him and he yelled "Hey A.J!" My full name is Aurora Jane, but I just have everyone call me A.J. All of a sudden he screamed "A.J RUN!" He started to run toward me while I looked behind me. A white van with no windows had two men jumping out and running towards me. I started to run away as fast as I could but I tripped over a tree root. I got up but then I felt someone tackle me to the ground; they twisted my arms behind my back and started to tie my hands together. As this was happening I saw Jacky run behind a tree before a black bag was put over my head. The man hoisted me up as if I only weighed 30 lbs. instead of 130 lbs. After that the only thing I remember was being hit on the head and blacking out.

When I woke up I was in a bed with the same clothes on thank God! I tried to sit up but then felt woozy and fell back on the bed hitting my head on the head board. When my vision finally came into focus, I looked around the room. It was basically just a room with a beautiful bed, curtains, a desk, a dresser, and a chair near the door. Again I tried to sit up but a firm pair of hands pushed my shoulders back down on the bed. I turned my head to see a guy around 17 smirking at me.
"You should rest for a little while, you hit your head pretty hard." He had a really nice voice I noticed. I couldn't seem to find my voice so I just looked at him. He went back to the chair by the door and sat down. He was still staring at me. Instead of staring at him like a dumb mute, I decided to at least sit up. When I did my head started spinning along with the room. I pressed my hands on the sides of my head hoping that would stop the spinning. The guy from the chair got up and touched my forehead, slowly but surely the room returned to normal. However I tried to swing my legs over the side of the bed and stand up, that was the last thing I remember before black out again.

I was running through a hallway looking behind me. I saw a couple of men running after me. I turned back around and started to sprint as if my life depended on it. I ran outside and saw my parents in a car screeching off with them looking back at me scared. I ran towards the car but the men got to me first and tackled me to the ground.

I woke up to a pair of hands shaking my shoulders gently but firmly. My eyes fluttered open and I saw the guy who was in my room before shaking me. I looked at him confused as he laid me back down on the bed.
"Are you okay?" He asked genuinely concerned. I just stared at him, I realized the sheets were tangled around my legs.

"You were screaming, must have been having some night mare" he said staring at my face. Which I'm sure looked absolutely disgusting considering that always happens after a nightmare. I still couldn't find it in me to talk to him so I just sat there, I didn't even nod. When I sat up this time he didn't stop me. My vision was fine and decided to not push my luck and try to get up. There was a glass of water on a nightstand next to my bed. I looked at it without moving. The guy, now sitting in the chair by the door, must have noticed because he said "That's for you if you want it." I just looked from him to the water and back again. I reached over and picked it up looking at it through the glass. It didn't seem like there was anything wrong with it but I decided to not to take any chances and put it back down on the night stand. I fixed my sheets and looked around the room. It looked like it was for a girl, the main color scheme was purple; it was a nice light purple that wasn't overpowering yet still noticeable. I looked at the guy sitting in the chair, he was staring out the now open window.

It was a beautiful day, well it should be considering it was the middle of May. He seemed to be tall, olive toned skin, dark brown hair with bright blue eyes. He was muscular and, well there's not way around it, hot. I took a couple of deep breaths closing my eyes and trying not to cry. It just hit me all at once that I was kidnapped, I didn't know where I was, and I was most likely never going to be able to see my family ever again. If they don't kill me first. After I regained control of my self I started to slowly move to the side. I let my legs dangle over the edge over the bed; I looked up to find the chair guy across from me looking tense. I scooted closer to the edge so my feet were touching the floor but also so there wasn't any weight on them. I put a little weight on them to see how they would do.

It didn't hurt too bad but I still winced a little. I could feel chair guy's stare on my face. I got up slowly and swayed a little, he caught me before anything bad happened. He picked me up like a baby and laid me back down on the bed, all the while I was looking up at him. When he put me back down on the bed he took a few steps back from the bed watching me. I scooted over to the edge again and stood up, only swaying a little. When he came over to help me I just waved him off regaining my balance. All the while my face had my focused expression on, it looks like a scowl. Great, I looked like I was scowling at the floor. I took a step and swayed more, he held out his hand for support and I gratefully took it. He was staring at me in astonishment, why? That was the last thing I remembered before blacking out for the third time. When I woke I heard voices, I kept my eyes shut and pretended to sleep so I could listened to what they were saying.

"She walked?!? Already?!?" an incredulous voice asked.
"Yeah, she's only blacked out twice since she got here. She didn't even drink the water!" I recognized this voice to be the chair guy's voice.
"But she still hasn't said a word. The only thing I've heard from her is her screaming while she was having a night mare." Said the chair guy again.
"Hmm," the voice paused, "we'll have to see if we can get her to talk, I just hope she cooperates."
"I think she's going to be perfect!" Said the voice a little later. I heard some more whispers I couldn't make out and eventually fell back to sleep.
