Kidnapped - Authors Note

I have a character description of every character except Twyla. I do not know what color to make her eyes. I do not want anything that is too common (like blue, hazel or brown). I am thinking about 2 different colored eyes or something unusual like the iris's will be purple but it will look like purple waves....I don't know....something odd like that. She is a mage but what should she special in? (water, ice, fire, air, earth, spirit, darkness, the list goes on) Please help me out. Thanks :)
