Kid Rock: Pam Anderson Lied

Rock has come forward claiming that Anderson made up the miscarriage story because she was mad at him. He told Rolling Stone that Anderson was upset with him because he chose to go to a Los Angeles Lakers game before going to visit with her on a Canadian movie set. Rock said, "I’m like, ‘Baby, I got these tickets. I’ll see you on the weekend there,’ and that leads into her saying, ‘You don’t care about me, blah blah blah.’ She finally comes up with this: ‘I just had a miscarriage’ …and she hangs the phone up."

It was announced by Anderson’s publicist in November 2006 that the former Baywatch beauty had suffered a miscarriage. The publicist asked that "everyone respect her privacy at this difficult time." Rock has a different story saying that when he did make it to Canada to visit Anderson she was "partying at this restaurant, drinking champagne, jumping on the tables. I’m thinking, ‘That’s a quick recovery from a miscarriage.’" Four months later both Rock and Anderson filed for divorce on the same day less than an hour apart. It was reported that Rock’s papers were filed 53 minutes before Anderson’s. Both cited "irreconcilable differences."

Anderson is quoted in the Rolling Stone article saying, I hope his album does well. I hope he’s happy in life. We were married for four months. If he has nothing nice to say about me, then please tell him to stop talking about me." She blasted Rock on her Website calling him "bitter." She went on to write, "It’s sad to see. I don’t want to battle with him. I wish him the best. I’d hate to point out habits I had a hard time with. They are personal to him and that’s why we are not together. These are desperate attempts. I’ve moved on." Anderson, 40, recently applied for a wedding license in Las Vegas to marry Rick Solomon. No wedding date has been announced yet.
