Key - Chapters 1 to 4
Taiven thinks she has a normal life. Well then it was turned upside down and smashed into pieces.

Yes, I know running away from your own house and family would most likely be classed as immature and something a fifteen year old shouldn't be doing. But I couldn't help it. I didn't know what was happening. I was just so sure that I had to get into the forest out the back of the apartment. As soon as I was out of the door I was running, being on the track team at school was good because I could run a long distance in a short amount of time. I tore straight into the forest and I was getting away from everything. There was this pull, I couldn't resist against it. I just had to keep running but I didn't know where. I had been running for a while before a shiver went through me and I felt like I was being shadowed. Like someone was closing in on me. I reduced my speed a little so I could look behind me and sure enough someone was after me.

Chapter 2

Who's the guy following?
****************************************************
I turned and sprinted as fast as I could. What was like a spell broke the moment I saw the follower. No matter how fast I ran he was still gaining. Thirty meters, twenty meters. My heart was beating so fast. Ten meters. Leaping over logs, dodging trees, still wasn't enough. Five meters and I could feel him reaching out for me. At the last second without even thinking I dived to the side landing painfully, scraping my arms, chest and knees in the dirt. I had dived too late he had already got a hold of the back of my hoodie.
The guy came crashing down half on top of me. Pushing myself up onto my elbows so I could start getting up, although I didn't get very far before he rolled me over to face him and pinned me down with my arms above my head with one hand, while reaching into his back pocket with his other.
Something flashed in his hand as he pulled it out of his pocket. It reminded me of a shard out of a broken mirror. I struggled and started to yell out but something damp and heavy covered my face, it smelled of strong coffee, breathing was beginning to get challenging to accomplish. I felt a sharp sting to my wrist. It felt like a huge paper cut, feeling my blood run down my hand and trickle on to the forest floor.
Abruptly the heavy mass was gone. I reached for the coffee reeking thing and pulled it off my face. Breathing heavy I looked around and I began to scream. However I didn't have any breath left to.

Chapter 3
What's up with these people?
****************************************************
The guy was being held in the air, and yelling, "Jace! Jace! Let Me Go!"
"No Daxen. Not until u stop trying to kill her. You're not even supposed to be here it was my job to lure her out here and take her in, not you. Now get out of here." He was yelling by the end of his sentence sounding extremely annoyed and angry.
Lure? I was thinking what is that supposed to mean. I started to get up then remembered that how fast that guy Daxen was. So I started crawling towards the under growth. While the others were too busy yelling at each other to pay any attention to me whatever. I was scurrying away so fast, that I forgot that they might hear me. After about twenty meters I stopped crawling and listened to the boys. Their voices were really muffled; I could make out the last few sentences that they were saying.
"Fine I'll go, but by the way she's gone." I assumed that was Daxen sounding very bland.
"Shit. I'll have to find her; she's still close I can sense her. Just go back home." Jace sounded pissed off.
I felt terrified; I started moving again I didn't get too far, before I felt a hot breath on the back of my neck. I yelped in surprise jumped up out of my crouched position and started to run again. I had gone two steps before he seized my cut wrist being careful not to hurt me. I was struggling so much to try get out of his rock hard grip. He started to say something but I kicked him in the shin, and he gave a sharp yelp. His grip loosened a tiny bit, just enough for me to take the advantage and yanked my wrist free. I started back pedaling; the ground was so uneven I fell onto my hands and knees. I scrambled up but Jace was in front of me. I was so startled and I couldn't stop my momentum and ran into him. It was like running into a brick wall. I started to fall backwards but he caught me, with his hands around my waist.

Chapter 4
Woah! Who's Lexi? Pic of Lexi. :) But with brown eyes.

He started saying things in my ear like, "Your name's Taiven right? Mine's Jace. I have to take you to Rick. You're going to co-operate."
I was just nodding along by the time he got to the last sentence. I felt a drowsiness wash over me as he was talking.

I hit my elbow on something really hard. I yelled in pain. I came back to the present quite fast when what I thought was a car braked really hard. I noticed I must have been in the boot. After about five minutes of waiting in the dark. Light came bursting into the tight claustrophobic space where I was. I kicked out at the broad shape standing in the light. A deep male voice yelled out as my foot connected with his gut.
As my eyes adjusted to the light I got grabbed by my shoulders and pulled out of the tight little space I had been in. I was set down on the ground roughly. As soon as my arms were free of Jace's massive hands I punched, aiming for his face. The only problem was that he ducked and caught my hand. A thought came into my mind that kai was a guy. I kicked out again but this time connected between his legs. Jace started yelling and groaning in pain.
I didn't let up I punched him in the face twice which would have left a normal person unconscious. I spun on my heel and ran. I got about a hundred meters before hands grabbed me around my waist. I was flying for about two seconds. I was getting ready for the impact of the hard ground. But we must have twisted in the air because landed on Jace's chest. There was a faint 'huff' of air as I landed knocking the breath out of him. It felt like I had landed on a rock.
Reaching my hand to the ground there was dirt, I picked up a handful my fingers gauging into the soft earth. Throwing it in Jace's face I got up again and started running, this time towards the car. That was just about the only chance I had of getting out of there. There was faint growls and groans from Jace who was behind me still on the ground or that's what I thought.
I saw a faint blur in the corner of my vision. I whipped my head in that direction but there was nothing there. I looked back to where I was running and there was a pixie like girl standing about twenty meters in front of me. I stopped in such a hurry I stumbled and nearly fell but she was standing in front of me holding my arm to hold me upright.
She looked over my shoulder and smiled at Jace who was lying on the ground rolling around rubbing the dirt out of his eyes. The girl was about my age, she had short chopped brown hair that hung just above her shoulders and flicked out at the ends. She told me that Lexi was her name. She had a sweet voice but there was something about her that gave me chills, I ignored it. Looking at Lexi properly she had huge dark brown eyes. Lexi lead me to the car and opened the passenger door. I hesitated for a second before getting in. She was in the driver's seat and starting the car in all about three seconds.
