Kevin Federline Shocked by Divorce Filing

Federline was reportedly doing an interview with MuchMusic when he reportedly learned in a text message that Spears had filed a petition for divorce. Federline allegedly looked stricken, asked to remove his mic, and left the interview for about a half-hour and returned looking visibly shaken. One has to wonder whether or not he is upset that his meal ticket seems to be expired or if he is genuinely saddened that his wife has called it quits on their marriage.

The couple reportedly had a huge blowout on October 31 at an album release party at club Xenii for K-Fed’s musical effort Playing with Fire. After their fight, Federline went on to work the crowd and Spears allegedly left the club barefoot. A source said, "She ran down the stairs crying and stormed out. Her eyes were swollen and her eyeliner was smudged. She looked like a complete mess." Federline did not follow Spears and spent the remainder of the night partying at the club.

Spears and Federline met in 2004 while Federline’s ex Shar Jackson was seven-months pregnant with their second child. Federline and Jackson have a four-year old daughter Kori and a two-year old son Kaleb. Spears and Federline supposedly tied the knot in September 2004, but she listed a marriage date of October 6, 2004 in her divorce papers. Spears and Federline have two children – Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 2 months. The couple has spent the last two years defending their relationship, but it seems as if Spears finally had enough.
