Kevin Federline’s New Reality Show

The soon to be ex Mr. Britney Spears is reportedly in talks to develop his own reality television series.

Kenneth Crear, the executive producer for House of Carters, has confirmed that he is working with Federline on creating his own show. Crear said, "It’s true. We are in talks about this. Kevin came to me because he liked the way I shot the House of Carters series and the way I made Nick Carter look real and trustworthy. I gave people a different perspective of him and made people really respect him." Seems Federline could use some respect and an image change. Right now he is just viewed as a money hungry mooch with no redeeming qualities.

Crear confirmed that they are currently looking at "one or two different networks" and are looking to do an eight episode series. He said the show is in the beginning stages of the game. As for the show, he said, "Kevin doesn’t dislike or hate Britney. The show will show him for who he is but [will] not smear her. It was just a marriage that didn’t work out, but it will show who he is beyond that." The show will reportedly be shot over a three-month period and chronicle Federline’s every day life and his attempts at lighting a fire under his career as a rap star.

This isn’t the first reality show that K-Fed has starred in. Federline and estranged wife Spears released a reality show on UPN in 2005 called Chaotic. The show featured the couple’s courtship, engagement, and wedding. The show consisted mainly of home video footage taken by the couple and was an attempt to "tell their love story their way." Well, the show was panned and their marriage is over so one can probably say that it wasn’t the best idea to put it out there for the world to see. Chances are there is a market out there for a show following K-Fed around post Britney.
