Kevin Federline Files for Primary Custody

Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline’s attorney, filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday to request "primary physical custody of his two children with Britney Spears." Spears and Federline’s divorce was finalized a little over a week ago with the couple agreeing to joint custody of their sons Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 9 months. Federline is also reportedly receiving $15,000 in child support from the Toxic singer.

Federline has reportedly been growing increasingly concerned about Spears’ erratic behavior. A source said that he was reluctant to sign the divorce papers because he is concerned that Spears is unable to care for their two young sons. Spears life began to spiral out of control once she split from Federline, becoming a permanent fixture on the party circuit, rumors of drug alcohol abuse, and feuds with her mother. She entered Promises Treatment Facility in February, reportedly at Federline’s urging. Since she checked out of the facility her erratic behavior has continued.

Spears has been spotted drinking again and there are rumors that she may be using drugs. She fired her manager Larry Rudolph and is reportedly estranged from her mother. Spears reportedly blames her mother, Lynne, for all of her problems and is upset that Lynne is friendly with Federline. There have been reports that Spears asked her dentist to whiten her son’s teeth, that she is a bad parent, and that the kids are not safe while they are in her presence. Spears has been suffering from some sort of meltdown that has just progressively gotten worse and if she doesn’t get the help she needs she could end up losing her kids…who ever would’ve thought that K-Fed would step up to the plate?
