Kendra Wilkinson’s Dreamy NFL Husband Unemployed

Kendra Wilkinson is pregnant and her husband is unemployed – it’s all good though, as the minimally-talented couple likely have millions socked away as the result of careers in the "entertainment" industry.
The football world found out a few days ago that Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett was out of a job. Baskett has been with the Eagles since 2006 but in the wake of an injury to Donovan McNabb, the team’s high profile quarterback, it became necessary to sign another quarterback and move Michael Vick onto the 53 man roster. The result was Baskett getting the boot. Of course, because of Baskett’s marriage to Kendra Wilkinson, of Playboy fame and known for her relationship with Hugh Hefner, the entertainment world has now jumped on the story as well.

Wilkinson is currently pregnant but, unlike for normal people, it’s not such a big deal that the dad to be is unemployed. For one, Wilkinson is just blonde enough to have made a boatload of cash for doing...well, not much other than sleeping with old Hef from time to time. Baskett, never really known as an outstanding talent - he’s never topped 500 receiving yards in a season, much less the 1,000-yard mark that is a benchmark for top receivers – still has made enough in his brief and entirely unsuccessful career that the couple should have plenty of money to buy designer clothing for their new baby.

Of course, Baskett will likely be picked up by another team as well. The Chicago Bears have a noted dearth of veteran wide receivers, and the Oakland Raiders suited up against the San Diego Chargers earlier this week with two rookie wideouts. What’s perhaps most interesting about the whole story is the "money for nothing" angle. Wilkinson certainly has the "Playboy look," but there are literally thousands of women who are better looking commuting to work right now. As for Baskett, there are dozens of wide receivers in the college ranks who are doing what he does – but better – for free (until they come out for the NFL draft). It just goes to show that if you get in front of enough people and entertain them, you can certainly more than just make a living at it.
