Keith Urban Checks Out of Rehab
Keith Urban’s rep has confirmed that he has been released from the rehabilitation facility that was treating his alcohol addiction.

Urban and wife Nicole Kidman were together on Monday night at the CAA Golden Globes after party in Los Angeles. Next up for Urban is a trip to Germany on Thursday for a television appearance promoting his new album. He will begin touring for his "Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy World Tour" which he will kick off in April in the United Kingdom and Germany. The tour will also continue in Australia, the United States, and Canada. No official dates have been released yet.
Urban checked himself into rehab on October 19, 2006 with Kidman by his side. He released the following statement, "I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me. One can never let one’s guard down on recovery and I’m afraid that I have. With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome." This was Urban’s second stint in rehab. He has had a history of alcohol and drug abuse.
Urban and Kidman were married in June in Sydney, Australia a mere five-months before he made the decision to enter rehab. Kidman has remained the loving wife and the two enjoyed a brief visit over the holidays while Urban was "on leave" from the center. Paul Freundlich, Urban’s publicist, said at the time, "Keith is on leave in Australia to be with his family during the holidays. This is a natural occurrence at this point in his treatment. He will continue with his rehab upon his return." Hopefully, this stint in rehab will help him remain on the straight and narrow path.
