Keisha Chapter 20

I was really scared at this point. "We have to go back." I say to Savion. He just ignores me, and that makes me even more angry. "I know you hear me. We have to go back Savion, we have to go back for my brother." I yell. My friends are sitting in the back quiet. "Savion! Turn around!" I yell tears in my eyes. "Keisha, we can’t go back. The place is probably crawling with police officers. I’m sorry baby, we can’t go back." He says with regret. I knew he was right and he was only looking out for me, but right now I wasn’t in the right state of mind. "Savion turn this damn car around. I don’t give a flying fugg about the damn police. That’s my brother we talking bout." I snap with venom on every single word.

Again he just ignores me and continues driving in the direction towards his house. "Keisha why don’t you call him? Tyrone is pretty smart, I bet he got away." Tamia suggest. For a second I think her idea is dumb, I mean why would my older brother leave his little sister at a house party gone bad? Then again he was in the living room the whole time, and I was outside safe. I take out my cell phone and dial his number. It rings 4 times before I hear his voice.

"Hello, Keisha? Where you at girl? Are you safe? Who you wit? Are ya friends with you?" He asked all in one breath. I smile because I know he is safe.

"Relax Ty, we’re all fine. We’re with Savion. Can you tell mom I’m staying over Tamia’s house." I say.

"Same old Keisha. Yeah I got ya back. So you getting back with Savion?" He asked being nosey. I roll my eyes, it was time to end this conversation now.

"Don’t worry bout that. You’ll find out sooner or later. Thanks again big bro, love you." I say hinting I was ready to hang up.

"Ayyite I can take the hint. Love you too." He says hanging up.

"So everything cool?" Keena asks. "Yeah he good. Oh and Tamia I’m suppose to be over your house, so can you cover for me?" I ask looking at my best friend. "You staying over Savion’s? Keisha what happened to seeing other people? He cheated on you and you already going back to him, its only been 2 days! What the hell?" She exclaims. Savion frowns. "Aye I am right here. I said I was sorry, what more you want from me. Matter of fact why does it matter to you?" He asks annoyed. "It matters to me, because Keisha is my best friend and I care for her. I won’t just stand by and let some silly fool play my sista like that. I love you Savion like a brother, but I ride for Keisha no matter what." She replies back with attitude.

I look at her and smile. She was my other half for real. I know my friends were shocked I was ready to give Savion a second chance. They just didn’t understand were our love stood. Damn, I sound so naïve right now. I think to myself. Savion pulls up to Tamia’s driveway. My friends get out, then they all look at me. "So you going or staying?" Nychel asks. I look at my friends, then at Savion. His eyes tell me to go with him, while my friends are saying bring ya ass into this house. I decide to go with my gut feeling. "I’ll see ya’ll later, I’m kicking it with Savion. Please don’t be mad at me Tamia. I gotta work some things out. Love ya’ll." I say as Savion backs out of the driveway.
