Keisha chapter 15
The plan...
"Hey Tyrone. What up." I say.
"Don't try and act like we cool, nikka. It's taking everything in me not to come over there and beat ya ass." He growls.
"Man it ain't none of ya concern, like real talk." I say getting angry.
"Nikka, it is my concern. My little sister is all depressed and upset, over you. You lucky she care about your stupid ass."
I get confused. "Why you say that?" I ask.
"She begged me and Taj to leave you alone. You was so close to gettin ya ass whooped." He laughs a sick laugh.
"Man like I said, I ain't trying to get on your bad side, but this is between me and Keisha. Not you'll." I reply.
"Look Keisha is my little sister, I will always have her back. But since I am cool with you, I'mma give you a chance to fix this mess." He says codly, then hangs up.
I sigh in frustration and lie back. "Savion, mom said come get Jewel ready for bed!" Vanae yells. I get up and go downstairs. Before I get all the way down, my older sister Vanna stops me.
"Savion, ya baby mama called. Again." She says standing in her doorway. "What she want?" I ask sitting on the top step. "The same thing as usual. To get with you." She says casually. Again I am confused. "What you talking about, Vanna. Lashonda don't want me. She likes Trey." I announce. Vanna laughs. "Damn, she like both of you'll? She a nasty little thing. She call like everyday asking for you and saying she miss you. It's getting annoying now. I ain't trying to get in ya bidness or nothing, but I think you should tell homegirl what's up between you and Keisha. Cause she got her hopes up." She advise's, then goes back into her room.
I sit there for a few seconds to think everything through. Savion! Come get ya daughter!" Vanae yells, breaking my train of thought. "Ayyite, I'm coming." I say going down the stairs. When I get there, I see Jewel is on her way to sleep. "Hold on little mama, you gotta take ya bath first." I say scooping her up and carrying her upstairs.
After washing Jewel up and putting her in some Bugs Bunny pajama's I lay her down inb her bed. "Night Jewel. Love you." I say. "Love you. Daddy." She says eyes closed. I close her door and go into my room. i decide to call Keisha again. On the fourth ring, she picks up.
"What?" She sasses.
I laugh. "You sound cute when you mad."
"Man whatever, what you want Savion?"
"You." I say point blank.
"Sorry dat ain't a option." She laughs.
"How long you gonna be mad at me?" I ask.
"It don't matter Savion. We done, finished, over with. Move on." She says with attitude.
It hurt to hear that. "You don't mean that, Keisha. We got to much history just to give up. We gotta move past this and work it out."
"Savion let me ask you this: If I would have cheated, what would you have done?"
I sigh. "I would have been mad, but I would have given us another chance." I answer.
"Ok. Well you didn't just cheat. You cheated, got the chick pregnant, and you lied to me about it. That's three strikes right there boo boo. You don't get four." She says.
"Keisha, I am sorry ok. I know I messed up. But in my defense I didn't know I had a daughter either. I just found out two days ago." I say.
"Yeah, and I am sorry you missed a couple of years in ya kid's life, but what dat got to do with me? Nothing. I don't want no part of ya baby mama drama." She replies.
"How many times I gotta tell you girl, there is no drama."
"Savion please, Tamia is the noseist person ever. She found out who Lashonda is. She a hoe and a fake. All she do is use dudes for money and sex. I guess all she got from you is sex, cause I know you don't trick on nobody. Except for me. Look I gotta go. Bye."
"Bye." I say.
After hanging up with her I need a shower. I take a long hot shower to calm my nerves. It's 11:00 and I ain't tired yet. So I go downstairs. I am surprised to see my mom up still. That's when the idea hits me. The party. Keisha will be at the party, I can win her back there. I go and sit by my mom. "Mam can you do me favor?" I ask. She looks at me. "Will it cost me?" She jokes. "Nope." "Ok, I'll bite. What does my son need from me?" "Can you babysit Jewel for me tomorrow? I wanna go to this party, Keisha will be there and I need to win her back. Before she meets someone new." I explain. My mom just stares at me for a few seconds. "I know you really love Keisha, and I know she loves you. So I'll babysit her. Just this one though." She says after a few minutes. I give her a big bear hug. "Thanks ma, I love you." I say happily. "Love you too." She replies.
