Keisha Chapter 12

When I get out the car, Lashonda gets out too. "You smoke around her all the time?" I ask my voice showing I am pissed. Lashonda rolls her eyes. "The windows were down. But please don't start trying to act like a daddy know. Not when you had all this time." She says hands on her hips. I look at her like she stupid or on drugs. "How da hell was I suppose to know you were pregnant? You moved to a different state. You didn't bother to call or even come and tell me. So don't even try and put that on me. It's your fault." I say.

"So if you would have known would you have left your girl and be with us?" She asked with a smile. I couldn't help laughing. "Hell no! I love Keisha. I would have helped take care of Jewel. Keisha loves kids too. We could have been a family." I say truthfully. Lashonda looks heartbroken then disgusted. "That bitch will not be part of my daughter, ayyite. I am the only momma Jewel will have." "First of all don't call her out of her name. Second of all she can be if I want her too. I'm pretty sure you had a whole bunch of dudes in front of Jewel." I say walking away from her and going to the car.

I open the back door and look at my daughter. I can't help but admit she is beautiful like her momma. I just hope she won't be shiesty like her. I need to get Keisha back in my life quick. "Hey lil momma you ready to spend some time with a ya daddy?" I ask kissing her cheek. She just smiles at me. "You better protect my little cousin like she your life." Lashonda's cousin Sammy says. I look at him. "Don't worry cuzz. I know you ain't used to the hood, but I got this." I say with a smile then walk away.

Trey's lazy butt finally comes out the house to help a brother out. "Damn nikka, how many bags does a baby need?" He says laughing. "Hey Trey." Lashonda says licking her lips. See what I mean, she a hoe. He look at her and give her a smile. "Lashonda how you doing?" "I'm good you know doing what I gotta do to make things happen." She say. "Yeah, I feel you." "Hurry up Savion, my momma aint gonna be happy seein me outside. You know she got me on lockdown, again." He give Lashona a hug then grab some bags and head back in the house.

"Ayyite I see you good. Give mommy a kiss Jewel." Lashonda says smiling at Jewel. She gives her a kiss and a hug then leaves. I take Jewel and the rest of the bags into the house. Trey on the couch watching BET. He look up and gets this slick smile on his face. "Why you looking like that?" I ask. I sit Jewel in the playpen Trey has for his little brother. "Damn. I forgot how fine Lashonda is. She got it going on. I'mma have to get with her." He says shaking hos head. I sit on the other couch and relax. "I hate to ruin the mood. But Keisha broke up with me." Trey looks at me with a frown. "Damn dawg. Sorry to hear about that. You want me to lay off Lashonda?" He asked. "Nah, I mean I ain't trying to get with her. Keisha is the only one for me. I'm going to get her back." I say knowingly.

"Good because your baby momma is fine." He says laughing. Before I say anything my cell phone rings. I look at the screen to see it's Nychel calling. "Wass up, ma." I say. "Hey. Look let's get something straight. I am not cool with you for what you did, but you and Keisha were good together. So I'll do what I can." Nychel says getting straight to the point. "I understand were you coming from. So how'a Keish? Is she still crying. Did she say she wants to talk to me?" I ask all in one breath.

"She stopped crying after we calmed her down and what not. But I heard her crying when she was in the shower. She putting on a front, but we know her. You really messed her up, Savion. I don't know if she wants to talk with you yet. Look I gotta go. Bye." She says hanging up.

I look over at Jewel and see she playing with Trey. "Man I am happy we don't have school tomorrow. And we got a long weekend." I say out loud. "For real, I'm trying to see YaYa at the party." He says all sly like. "Man how you trying to get with Lashonda when you still messing with YaYa?" I ask.

Trey looks at me with a slick smile. "Man I got needs. YaYa is sexy fly and is willing to do things even though we ain't in a relantionship. I know Lashonda ain't giving it up unless we together." He says. Sadly he speaking the truth. I just shake my head and laugh.
