Bite your lip,
Just keep breathing,
Please don't trip,
He'll soon be leaving.

Look down at the ground,
It's your only hope now,
Don't make a sound,
The moment's over now.

He just keeps walking away,
And you're forever changed,
By the way, he looked your way,
Not even a word exchanged.

Just look him in the eye,
Quit pretending you don't see him,
Let your breath go with a sigh,
Someday you'll get over him.
