Keep the Rain Out When You Golf

Many avid golfers even go to play 18 holes regardless of the weather, this is why a good golf rain suit is recommended.
If you’re into golfing and want to be sure to hit the greens every weekend regardless of the weather then you’re going to need a good golf rain suit. I often see golfers out trying to sport regular rain jackets, hoodies, or even have a caddie carrying an umbrella for them. This can partially help but you can clearly see the difference when you wear a rain suit that is designed specifically for golfing.

Golf rain suits have the golfer in mind which allow you to keep your full range of motion when swinging from your feet up to your neck as all of these movements are important. Golf rain suits are designed knowing full well you’ll be leaning forward and doing certain movements that will allow water to seep in through certain areas unless your suit is designed well.

Another mistake people often make when trying to golf in the rain is the hood. If you’ve ever tried to wear a hood over your head while performing a proper swing then you’ve fell the "body pull" that it causes when you try to follow through. This can hinder your game and if done enough times can cause you to learn bad habits. Golf Rain Suits often come with a wide brimmed hat that is ideal for keeping your head dry and the water out of your face but without restricting movement. Although the hat leaves the neck exposed, a good golf rain suit will come with a water collar that will fit up the length of your neck to do the job for you.

There’s a lot to consider when purchasing apparel to golf in the rain with, and if you go with the wrong clothing it may prove to be counter-productive.
