Katrina's Story Chapter 2

Sorry there isn't much. I just got an inspiration last night. I'm still working on it. <3
It was cold enough to cause my heart to stop… Cold enough to make me sleep.. I was running on top of the ice. I don’t know where. Somewhere in Canada. I was naked. My feet where turning purple and I started limping. The sun was going down and I knew that another 6 months alone was going to kill me. I started screaming but only tiny gurgles escaped my lips. I fell to the ground and reached out, gasping for the sun to come back…

I laid there… The tears formed in my eyes turning to icicles. I wanted my home back.. I wanted him back. I wanted to go home. I didn’t want to be here anymore. Being the toughest creature alive, I was all alone…

"Autumn! Wake up! It’s just a dream, baby.." Someone was calling my name, I yawned then stretched. My heart was pounding in my chest and I felt horrified. Wait a second… I yelped with joy and fell into Johns arms,

"John!!" His name fell from my lips and I had my arms around his neck, clinging to him. It was just a dream. It was just a dream. I’d been repeating that to myself the whole time he held me,

"Are you alright, Autumn? I heard to screaming from down the hall…" We lived in the same apartment building and my foster mom was out to work. I snuck a key to John two years ago incase he got kicked out of his apartment with his girlfriend. But, it wasn’t him who got kicked out. It was her. She had snuck a man age 27 and was having an intercourse with him… John never really did like her anyway.

"Uhh.. Yeah, I’m fine. I had a dream.. That everyone was gone and I was all alone an--," He cut me off by pressing his lips against mine. A low growl coming from his throat, "Never. EVER feel alone. I’m always here for you…"
