Katie Holmes: Wedding Dress Found

Despite that no actual wedding date has been set, or released to the public, yet Katie Holmes can cross a dress off her checklist of things to do. While visiting Paris recently with her new gal pal Victoria Beckham, Holmes did some major shopping. She told reporters, I’m picking clothes for my closet. I’ve already chosen my wedding dress." No word on which designer Holmes went with but it was rumored that Vera Wang and Karl Lagerfeld were the front runners although neither one has commented.

She reportedly said, "I’ve been shopping all day. They have beautiful things for babies here." Holmes and Beckham were in Paris for Fashion Week. It was also reported that Cruise’s sister, Leanne, met up with Holmes and according to a source, "Tom’s sister didn’t leave Katie’s side the whole time." Allegedly they flew to Milan "to pick up her wedding dress" on Sunday. This could be an indication that the wedding that has rumored to be in the works for months now is finally about to happen.

Cruise and Holmes announced their relationship in April 2005. The two announced their engagement in June after Cruise popped the question in Paris. Just a mere four months later they announced that they were expecting their first child together. Baby Suri reportedly but on April 18, but was not seen by the public until early September when Vanity Fair released a picture of their October 2006 issue which featured Cruise, Holmes, and Suri. No official date for a wedding has been released, but it was rumored that Cruise and Holmes may say "I do" in Italy.
