Kate Hudson to Stay Away From Owen Wilson
It has been reported that Owen Wilson's family has refused to let him have any contact with his former flame, Kate Hudson

A source close to Hudson claims that she has been trying to get in touch with Wilson following his attempted suicide and alleged drug overdose. It has been reported that Wilson's family doesn't think that would be a good idea because they believe he fell into a deep depression after his relationship with Hudson went sour. A source said, "Kate has been trying to get in touch with Owen and is distraught that the family doesn't want her anywhere near him. She is very frustrated."
Hudson and Wilson met on the set of their hit film You, Me and Dupree and began an on-and-off romance after shooting on the film wrapped. They kept their romance relatively quiet and reportedly split just before Memorial Day despite a few attempts to keep their romance going. Since their split, it has been rumored that Hudson is dating Punk'd star Dax Shepard.
Wilson reportedly attempted suicide at the end of August following a deep depression and alleged addictions to heroin and cocaine. A rep for Wilson has denied that he has ever used either drug, but a friend of the actor's has said that he has struggled with the addictions for years. It has also been reported that his addictions ultimately led to the demise of his relationship with Hudson. Wilson has returned home and his family has been focusing on getting him better. The source said, "[Owen's family members] don't think Kate is good for him." So for now, they are supposedly refusing to let Hudson contact the actor.
