Kate Hudson Slams Engagement Rumors

Recently it was rumored that Wilson, 39, had popped the question to Hudson, 29, in Miami last week after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring. A source said, "Kate supported Owen during his low patch and that proved to him she’s the woman he wants to be with forever. He picked out the ring and went for the biggest one he could find. He was nervous about proposing, but Kate was thrilled and the who thing was really emotional." The source added that the couple will tie the knot next year.

Hudson’s rep has slammed the rumors saying, "She’s definitely not engaged." Her rep also pointed out that she is filming a movie called Bride Wars and that is why she is wearing the ring. Wilson’s rep has also denied that the couple is engaged. The couple has been spending a lot of time together lately and a source said that they are "at a good place with each other," but they are not ready to take the next step.

Hudson and Wilson first became close on the set of the movie You, Me & Dupree in 2006. Later that year the two were romantically linked and Hudson split from her rocker hubby. Chris Robinson.
