Kate Hudson & Lance Armstrong Call it Quits

A source said that Hudson, 29, and Armstrong, 36, broke-up over the weekend. The source said, "There was no drama or ugliness – they just decided to end things. There is no hatred, just sadness." The two were last spotted together this past weekend at the three-day Lance Armstrong Livestrong Summit in Columbus, Ohio. The source said that this is where they decided to end their relationship. Neither camp has commented on the relationship or alleged split.

Hudson and Armstrong first began seeing each other in May. They were first spotted getting cozy at the Cannes International Film Festival in France. From that point on the two were spotted all over the place looking like two people in love despite the fact that neither would talk about the romance. It seemed as if they were getting pretty serious, but apparently things aren’t always as they seem.

Hudson was married to the Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson with whom she has a four-year old son, Ryder Russell. The couple split in 2006 after almost 6 years of marriage. It was rumored at the time that she had had an affair with her You, Me and Dupree co-star, Owen Wilson, which ended her marriage. She and Wilson had an on again off again romance that ended shortly before she began dating Armstrong. Armstrong was married to Kristin Richard for almost five years and they have three children – Luke, 9, and twins Isabelle and Grace, 7. He was also engaged to singer Sheryl Crow and romantically linked to designer Tory Burch and actress Ashley Olsen.
