Karma, relationships & 'the secret'
A look at the history of karma, manifesting and how it impacts on personal relationships.
I want to take a look at the history of karma as it affects personal relationships and combine it with teachings from the secret. As a manifesting teacher and psychic reader I have come across many clients from the East and West have adopted a belief in karma.
Karma is central to the Hindu concept of reincarnation (death and rebirth) After a death a person’s soul or energy essence moves into a new body and is reborn. The soul could become a king, an animal or even a butterfly, where the soul goes is determined by karma – re the previous thoughts, words, and action of the person that the soul inhabited. So if their previous karma was good they will be reborn into a higher state of life. If the karma was bad the soul will inhabit a lower state. Hence some clients believe they are doomed or fated to good or bad luck depending on karma which some believe to be divine in nature. So if a client comes to me with a belief in karma and are having a bad or series of bad experiences in a relationships they feel trapped or doomed to karma.
Yet the secret tells us we cause reality to bend according to our thought and feelings. Good vibe bad vibe kind of thing. This is similar to cause and effect, re the Hindu belief in karma. Both philosophies have to incorporate liberty for the person involved in order to make a balance. Are you to blame for something unpleasant happening in your life? Or are you just responsible to make better choices in your present and leave your karma, history or ‘baggage’ behind in the past where it belongs? In plain terms if you suffer distrust in relationships this is due to your past experience or history, therefore under your control to change in an internal process of healing. The trick is not to carry your baggage or karma into the rest of your life or believe you are always to be the victim of it, but to face it head on, address what needs balancing and feel free to access receiving and giving of joy and love in relationships. Viewing a partner or a potential partner with trust and integrity is far more effective than viewing your partner as ‘wrong’. If you need to make another wrong in order to feel right, the irony is you will never feel right enough. Manifesting on purpose teaches people to encourage and amplify their ability to feel positive, it does not ask you to think positive. Non of us need be concerned over negative thoughts enough to try and vanquish them altogether unless we want to reach enlightenment. Rather use all thoughts and feelings in constructive or positive way, including the so called negative ones.
