Kailash Manasarover Yatra - Nyalam to Saga

While journeying from Nyalam to Saga could enjoy the beautiful Himalayas and the rugged and dusty roads. It’s safe to wear mouth and nose masks to cover from the dust and the chilly weather.

The breathing becomes difficult because of the high altitudes and the speedy winds. One would not like to get down from the vehicle for the fear of catching cold.

The day is spent traveling, listening to music, enjoying the remoteness, watching the nomads and the animals and at times the beautiful creeks and the glaziers.

You halt for lunch and energy drinks to mix with others to avoid the monotony.

By late evening you come across the Brahma Putra river which flows innocently. You sight Saga Town from the banks of Brahma Putra (the only male river in the world).

There is a good Saga Hotel to give you comfort and to have a good bath with hot water.

One would wonder that there could be Sand Dumes and deserts on the Himalayas. But is a fact as we discovered the next day.
