The journey through the Himalayan Deserts towards Paryang where everything is a deserted forest lets one feel the inner self. The loneliness one experiences through the drive is worth every minute.

People who have traveled to Kailash will certainly vouch for their experience at Paryang. There is a small but beautiful monastery at Paryang. One can feel the ring tones of the bells. It is believed that Buddha hears the bells when rung.
We had all these experiences. Though we were tired we still ventured to go to this monastery. Bells were rung for Buddha to hear.
If Nylam was a testing experience then Paryang was certainly a revelation.
