Justin Chambers Hospitalized

Chambers reportedly checked himself into UCLA Medical Center psych ward Monday to be treated for severe exhaustion. Chambers’ rep confirmed that the actor checked into the hospital and said that he "suffers from a sleeping disorder and went in voluntarily to get some help." Chambers reportedly checked out of the hospital Wednesday, hours before Britney Spears was checked into the same ward.

Chambers, 37, reportedly felt fine after his stay at the hospital. It was reported that he was spotted out at the bistro La Poubelle in Los Feliz later that evening. Chambers and some buddies were reportedly hanging out and having a few drinks together. A source said of Chambers, "He was there around midnight, drinking with a couple of friends. He looked upset, but not in a breakdown type of way." The source allegedly added that Chambers is a regular on the scene in the neighborhood, but is usually with his wife and kids. The source reportedly added, "They are the cutest family. He seems like a decent guy."

Chambers got his start as a model for Calvin Klein. His wife, Keisha, is a former model agency booker. The two were married in 1993. The couple has five children Isabella, twins Maya and Kaila, Eva, and Jackson. Chambers had small parts in a few TV shows including Another World and New York Undercover before roles in movies such as The Wedding Planner and The Musketeer. Chambers got his big break starring as Alex Karev on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
