Justin Bieber is only 18 years old. He's an international superstar and we've seen him appear to be mature and poised in countless television appearances and interviews. But the fact remains that he is still a teenager and he's likely going to live his life accordingly. Unfortunately for Bieber and his handlers, however, people are constantly trying to get even the smallest sliver of his fame and fortune. So, from paparazzi to total strangers, anyone with a camera is dying to catch Bieber doing something inappropriate.
Recently, a paparazzo was killed trying to photograph Bieber on a busy highway during a traffic stop. In reality, Bieber wasn't in the vehicle being photographed and was not present at the scene. Then, last week, photos surfaced of Bieber in a Newport Beach hotel room and he appeared to be smoking a blunt. Since those photos have made their way around the Internet, Bieber's PR people have gone into crisis mode, making statements publicly about the fact that any pictures taken at parties where Bieber is in attendance actually belong to Bieber himself.
Of course, making such claims is a legal pipe dream and even Bieber's high-priced attorneys would find it impossible to defend such claims in court. And the problem for Bieber and his handlers is that Justin is still a very young man. He wants to be out and about among people his age, partying, meeting girls, making friends, and doing the stupid things that help dumb teenagers turn into slightly wiser adults. That's simply human instinct and it is impossible to stifle.
Allowing Justin to go out and get into a "little" trouble every now and then is probably healthier for him than trying to enforce silly rules about people never being able to take pictures in his presence. He's just a kid. Let him enjoy it.
