Justin Bieber unleashed an Instagram tirade on Thursday morning, the first draft of which ended with a jab at Lindsay Lohan’s financial troubles. At the end of his original rant, Bieber posted, "And those comparing me to Lindsay Lohan look at her 2012 tax statements ;)". Bieber is apparently fed up with the increasingly negative press coverage he’s been getting and he reached his boiling point early Thursday morning. So he took to Instagram with a long and grammatically troubling missive in which he stated his case that he’s a good person and the media is making him look bad.
And while it’s certainly true that the entertainment media loves nothing more than a negative angle to play with an A-list celebrity, Bieber has been doing a pretty good job of making himself look like an immature and slightly out-of-control teenager lately. Only a few moments after the original Instagram post went live, it was deleted and replaced with a more carefully worded message, with the reference to Lindsay Lohan removed entirely.
Bieber went on to explain that he was wrong to mention Lohan in the original post and that he realized it quickly and rewrote his message to ensure that mentioning Lohan wouldn’t overshadow his point. It’s easy to sympathize with Bieber in his plight against a voracious and often-negative press, but as he matures he’ll realize that part of his life isn’t real.
