About my ex again…he’s so perfect…he’s the only one I want.
You were just the guy
Whose whole life
I held in my eyes.
You are just the guy
Whose arms wrapped around me
And kept me so safe.
You are just the guy
Who I loved
And who gave me hugs.
You are just the guy
Who always kept me up
When the going was tough.
You are just the guy
Who looked into my eyes
And told me you would never lie.
You are just the guy
Who can always make me smile
Even when I can’t walk another mile.
You are just the guy
Who has said goodbye
And won’t even let me try.
You are just the only guy
Who can make me cry.
And you are the guy
Who gave me love
And great big hugs.
