Julia Roberts Baby #3

Marcy Engelman, Roberts’ publicist, announced that their son was born on Monday in an unnamed Los Angeles hospital and weighed 8.5 pounds. Engelman said, "The Moder family is doing great." Roberts and Moder welcomed twins Phinnaeus and Hazel in November 2004. Roberts confirmed her pregnancy in December.

Roberts said on The Oprah Winfrey Show last fall of her twins, "I just love them. They’re fun and happy and honest and just fill me with so much joy. I guess I didn’t realize that you could really like your children as much as your friends, you know." She went on to say, "I definitely feel that I’ve expanded as a human being. I have more empathy and more compassion, I think, because I feel so blessed on a level that I can’t even wrap my mind around, really."

Roberts, 39, and Moder, 38, a cameraman met on the set of her movie The Mexican in 2001. He was still married to wife Vera Steinberg when he met Roberts. He and Roberts were married at her Taos ranch on July 4, 2002. Roberts is set to appear on the big screen in Charlie Wilson’s War with Tom Hanks. The movie is a political drama based on real life facts and is due to hit theaters around Christmas. She is also starring in the drama Fireflies in the Garden which will be released sometime in 2008. Most recently she leant her voice to Charlotte in the big screen version of Charlotte’s Web. She now says that she is going to take some time off with her family.
