Joyous Christian Christmas Party Games for Family Fun
Celebrate the birth of Jesus with these christian Christmas party games that the whole family can play together!
If you're looking for a more spiritual Christmas celebration, then these Christian Christmas party games are just what you've been seeking!
Missing Lyrics
Holiday hymns are an undeniably moving portion of a Christmas church service, and you can bring some of these traditional favorites in to create church Christmas party games!
All you need is a list of religious Christmas songs with the lyrics and separate notepads for each team or individual. Songs such as "What Child is This," "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," "We Three Kings," "Silent Night," and "The First Noel" are great examples.
Charity Begins Here
Ask guests to bring non-perishable food for the needy to the party. Give them a list to work from - canned meat, canned vegetables, boxed pasta or stuffing, canned fruit, and bagged cookies, for example. Just don't tell them about the game ahead of time!
When you're ready to play, put all of the food donations in a central spot and divide guests into two or more teams. Provide each team with a stack of paper bags (or baskets) and a list that reads: meat, pasta / bread, two vegetables, and dessert.
The only rule is that teams can only retrieve one item at a time, and the object is to see which team can finish with the highest number of completed bags (that is, each of the items on the list in the bag). The game is over when there are no more items available to fill bags, or when one item is completely out - when all of the meat has been used, for example. At the end of the night, collect the bags and drop them off at a shelter. Any remaining items can be taken to the local food bank, where they are sure to go to someone in need.
If you're expecting a small crowd, start them off with a collection of items and let them add to it with their donations. This has potential to be one of the most meaningful church Christmas party games they'll ever play!
Whether you're planning an event for church, a youth group, or for your own family, these ideas for Christian Christmas party games provide a more reverent, meaningful way to celebrate the holiday and that might be the greatest gift of all!
