Journal of Operation Disaster (Day One: Part One)

I am not a science person, I am a social science person, But as the summer workshop I had joined this summer tell us to write a story about the future, I had no options. Let's see what you think.
Journal: Operation Disaster
Day 1:

Another devastating day has begun, and the second I woke up, I saw at once that the need to solve the scientific problems instantly is growing stronger, There has been another accident with DimensionTravel666...The poor victim cannot get back to his own dimension because a slight flaw in the dimension traveling machine has failed to regroup the atoms of the man's body. When the man get back to his own dimension, he shriveled up and burned away,

'Morning, Dr grey'. Mr Harrison Jones, my assistant walked in, with his anti toxic mask hanging from his hand, ' Big day today, How are you feeling?'
'We can't delay anymore.' I said seriously, 'We;ve got transportation problems to solve, And we have got to find out how to make sure people's brains don't overload from so much work and technology.

'All in good time, Doctor Grey,' Harrison said.' We are the only hope in this devastating century. We are scientists, we are the only reason that the Earth is still living together all those thousands of years of Pollution and inventions.' He looked pointedly toward the window.

I looked as well. The world of year 6666 is almost an unbearable sight to watch, The whole world was filled with black smoke and hot steam, Everyone on the street was wearing a bulky toxic mask. Time and time again, I could see people disappearing and then reappearing inside one of the shops on the sidewalk. Some just disappeared and were never seen again: they had dissolved themselves in time and gone ahead to five to ten years from now..without knowing that they may never come back to the present or they may disrupt their future...I couldn't watch anymore and drew the curtains shut.' yes, I see what you mean, Harry, People's awareness of how dangerous our technology is is too low. We need to fix the problems NOW. right away,'
