Jon and Kate Saga Never Ends, Jon Takes $200,000 from Bank

Jon Gosselin, estranged from his wife and making the rounds on television shows, has reportedly withdrawn $200,000 from a joint bank account he holds with Kate Gosselin, in direct defiance of a court order.
Everyone’s least favorite couple, Jon and Kate Gosselin, are back in the news yet again (did they ever really leave?), this time because Jon has apparently made an unauthorized withdrawal of $200,000 from the annoying couple’s joint bank account. That these two have $200,000 in a bank account is irritating enough, given that all they’ve done in their lives is have a bunch of kids and induce an amazing level of general nausea. Word is, however, that this latest stunt by Jon could find him in contempt of court.

Marty Singer, a litigation attorney who frequently works with "celebrities," has talked to the press about the fact that Jon never notified Kate that he had planned to withdrawal the large sum from their joint account. Upon their separation, however, the court had instructed neither waste of space to remove any significant sum from their joint accounts without the approval of the other part. Singer has written to Jon’s attorney, but has not heard back.

Said Singer, "They have not responded. I’m sure he will respond by going on another TV show." Singer went on to say that the move by Jon is entirely at odds with his claim that he would like to stop divorce proceedings, something he said while appearing on Larry King. Kate learned about the withdrawal only after receiving overdraft alerts. When she inquired at the bank, she was notified that her husband had withdrawn the large amount and that there was a little over $1,000 left in the account.
