Johnny Rocket & love, life and drama
It was all about the rock-n-roll, the parties, the girls, and the mayhem. But everything has to change at some point...
Johnny Rocket
"I saw him"
"No you didn't"
"It was him, I saw the tattoo"
"What was it of then?"
"It was that stupid looking tiger thing"
"It's not stupid, anyway could've been someone else, he wouldn't have come through here"
"Well he did"
"What was he wearing then?"
"A black singlet like always, some ripped jeans, and he even had his guitar"
"Heaps of people have guitars, your just jealous cause I've got tickets for his concert tonight, and you don't"
"What ever, Mike said he might be able get an extra one so I might be going"
"They where sold out in like five minutes! There's no way he could get you one now"
"He can so!" even though Sophie new Tina was probably right, she couldn't let her win.
"He just said he could cause he is in love with you"
"No he isn't, we are just friends" Sophie snapped back a bit louder than she meant to.
"You know he loves you, he even goes shopping with you, unless he's gay?"
Sophie shot her an angry look. Ever since she had jokingly told Tina that she thought he could easily bat for the other team Tina took every chance she could to bring it up.
"So what you doing after the concert?" Sophie asked trying to change the subject away from Mike.
"I heard there's going to be a party after the concert and Rachel said she knows a guy that can get as in"
"Have you heard what happens at those parties though? Who would want to go to that?"
"What? Apart from meeting rock stars and having a good time, you should come with us, you need a good time"
"I think I'll pass thanks"
Even though Tina was Sophie’s friend she still had to admit Tina wasn't what you would call innocent, she had long black hair, brown eyes, slim body with long legs, at twenty she still aspired to become a dancer and had the body for, though spent to much time out late, partying and meeting new boys instead of actually practising Sophie thought.
"Ok little Miss Boring, if you change your mind your still welcome to tag along"

"Where you been?"
"Just out"
"Well rehearsal is about to start, the other three are already out there, you only got a few hours till crowds start rolling in you know, so I suggest you go practise"
"Yip will do" Johnny’s Manager was pretty much considered by everyone as an insufferable prick, how they ended up with him he still couldn’t remember, yet here they where stuck with him. The Manager was slightly over weight and on the short side but everyone would've agreed he seemed to occupy more space than most, which Johnny put down to his over bearing attitude and how he shouted down at everyone no matter who they where. He at least was damn good at his job.
Johnny could hear the rest of the band warming up down the corridor so he made his way towards the hubbub of sound. When he reached the stage he promptly got out his guitar and put the case by the door. Slick looked around as he walked towards them "So were the bloody heck you been aye?"
Slicks real name was Bernie, how he got his nickname none of us new, but we had heard it had something to do with a gallon of KY jelly and a lot more vodka. He was originally from England but had moved here a few years back, where he met up with Jimmy. Jumbo Jim was our drummer. He had what I considered a small eating problem, and size 44 pants to go with it. But his size didn't hinder his drumming quality. He played with vigorous energy mixed with a little brilliance.
"Just out seeing the city Slick"
The other two stopped playing and turned around, Slick played the bass and Nate the lead guitar. Nate and Johnny had been best friends since I got my first guitar, and started a band together not long after. He was of moderate build, brown hair tied at the moment in a small ponytail and stubble that hadn't meet a razor in over I week.
"You guys ready for the concert tonight?"
"Question is are you ready?" Nate snipes back
"Yea you an't been yourself lately, going off all time by your self, seem do it more than you hang out with us now" Slick adds
"Just the concerts and everything, its just wearing me down, need fresh air once in a while you know" Johnny respond a bit defensively
"Lets just get on with it and warm up for tonight" he quickly adds.
Though they can tell its not all the truth, and Johnny knows it’s not the last of the conversation, they seem to let it pass.
"Yea alright then since you've finally made an appearance, though only got an hour left to the show you know" Nate says while tuning his guitar and turning back around to face the arena.
Jimmy and Slick follow his lead well Johnny’s left to walk out to the center stage to take up the microphone.

"Knock"
"Knock, knock"
"Be there in a sec" Sophie shouts out towards the front door.
She grabs her handbag, making sure it has everything she needs in it, quickly glances in the mirror one last time then heads towards the door. Mike had rang over an hour ago telling her to ‘hurry up, get ready and thank my lucky stars cause he's got me a ticket’. The excitement had grown rapidly since then, Sophie’s bed was covered in different outfits, and she admittedly had tried on ever pair of shoes she owned at least once.
"Hey you ready go babe?"
"Yip all ready, thanks so much Mike" Sophie replies well giving him a hug and peck on the cheek.
"No problem anything for you babe"
The drive to the venue took nearly an hour. The conversation had been like the excited talking of two school girls as they told each other which songs they hoped to hear, which was their favorite band member and every piece of trivia they could recall about the band.
When they finally arrived it was hectic. Cars trying to find a park were driving like madmen in a destruction derby contest, after a few near crashes, and even more verbal abuse from drivers they lucked upon a place on the far side of the car park.
"Whoa this is gonna be awesome" Mike says well practically squealing the last word.
Sophie agrees well they make there way through the throng of people bubbling around outside and head towards the front door.
"Whoa" they both exclaim at the same time.
"Ever seen this place so packed?"
"Must be tens of thousands of people here" Sophie yells as a reply so as to be heard over the mass of people squeezed into the arena.
"Or more" Mike yells back.
"Lets try get closer to the stage" He shouts well grabbing Sophie’s hand and leading her through the crowd
They make it to about ten yards away from the stage barrier before Mike finally gives up with it. He gives Sophie a big grin just as the lights turn off. The crowd as one turn to look at the stage, the atmosphere intensives to a mixture of anticipation and excitement. In the complete darkness everyone holds their breath waiting for the night to begin. With every single pair of eyes on it, a single ray hits the center stage while fireworks explode from onstage and zoom overhead. Standing in the spot light looking out at the crowd is a man dressed in what one could only call total rock star out fit. Black leather pants and matching leather gloves, a white t-shirt and dark long hair you could find on any rock star from the eighties. Sophie gazes up into his eyes and finds her breath caught in her throut, they where the most penetrating eyes she had ever seen, they seemed to watch the crowd and take everything in, seeing everyone for who they really were.
As he strums the first note on his guitar, the crowd goes absolutely wild, and Sophie finds him looking strait at her, piercing her with his green eyes.
